Children with Learning Disabilities (formerly The Learning Tree)

Children with Learning Disabilities (formerly The Learning Tree) Taught by Stanley Greenspan, M.D. This workshop combines power point and audio lectures to explore how The Learning Tree model can help with understanding and treating learning disabilities. Dr. Greenspan discusses the sensory system, executive functioning, developmental levels and academic achievement. This workshop explores, for the first time, how to strengthen weaknesses in the sensory processing system through identifying and using a child’s developmental capacities and relationships. (7 hrs.)

Instructions for obtaining ASHA CEUs are on the Children with Learning Disabilities Workshop Video screen page. One of the requirements for earning ASHA CEUs is passing the Mastery Test, which is also available on the video screen page. Although the test is weighted more towards speech and language issues, all participants in the workshop are welcome to take it.
