**You will see the term The Greenspan Floortime Approach and Greenspan Floortime throughout this test.  This is because even though Dr. Greenspan used the term DIR/Floortime in his lectures he didn’t agree with the terms DIR and Floortime being used in this way.  DIR and Floortime are two different, but related, things created by Dr. Greenspan.  Because of incorrect use and application, The Greenspan Floortime Approach is used to refer to his version of floortime.
