Welcome to StanleyGreenspan.com

When Dr. Greenspan created floortime in the 1980’s he identified the essential ingredients within natural caregiver-child interactions that lead to physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.  He wanted to empower all parents to take charge of their child’s development.  Over the last 40 years, The Greenspan Floortime Approach®, Dr. Greenspan’s version of floortime has grown and expanded into a highly effective personalized intervention for children with ‘additional needs’.   When applied, it will look different for each child in each session, but use the same fundamental principles and techniques.
