Examination and Experience-based Certificates:

  • Other ‘Floortime’ training programs are only knowledge/examination-based. We offer a comprehensive process, combining both Examination-based and Experience-based elements to ensure professionals attain a well-rounded skill set and learn how to successfully APPLY The Greenspan Floortime Approach®.

The APPLICATION of The Greenspan Floortime Approach® is our Priority:

  • Focusing on the successful APPLICATION of Greenspan Floortime within each therapeutic field requires each group of professionals learning elements from one another’s fields and building a holistic Greenspan Floortime tool belt.

A MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM Approach:

  • To achieve the most comprehensive outcomes, we prefer to train teams of professionals who can collectively help children in their communities. To help build more of these teams we are offering special group training memberships for entire organizations and teams of professionals.

Certificate Training process:

Greenspan/DIR(Theory and principles)- Level 100 Certificate

If you recently purchased The Professional Course and would like to earn a Greenspan/DIR Certificate, then contact us at info@stanleygreenspan.com and upgrade your membership to an All Access Pass.

Graduation from Level 100 gives the trainee a knowledge-based license that allows them to promote their use of the Greenspan/DIR™ Model. It permits trainees to use The Greenspan/DIR™ Model trademark as a descriptor of their knowledge of Dr. Greenspan’s Model, and as credential they earned allowing them to educate and share Greenspan Materials and information with the caregivers of the children they support. Passing this examination gets you access to Greenspan Materials to help guide the familes you care for and enables you to take the Application/Experience-based Assessments for further credentialing.

Self Study ($345):

  • Dr. Greenspans’s ALL ACCESS PASS gives members access to everything they need to understand his Greenspan/DIR™ Model, including test access.  By purchasing this ALL ACCESS option and learning the material, members will develop a comprehensive understanding of Dr. Greenspan’s theory and principles. After learning the material from the lectures and articles, each member must pass The Professional Course Mastery Test and The Greenspan Proficiency Test (A maximum of two attempts for the Mastery Test and one for the Proficiency Test are allowed).

In-Person ($ varies depending on host/location):

  • This certificate can also be earned by attending a two-day Introductory Lecture presented by one of the directors of The Floortime Center, Jake Greenspan or Tim Bleecker.  Pass the Mastery and Proficiency Tests (A maximum of two attempts for the Mastery Test and one for the Proficiency Test are allowed when earning this certificate).

The Experienced Track is for individuals who have had extensive supervision in the Floortime model. Individuals on the Experienced Track can bypass Level 100 most of Level 200 certification training.

To qualify for the Experienced Track, an individual must submit videos of two different cases that will be graded by evaluators who are trained in The Greenspan Floortime Approach®. (To prevent a conflict of interest, the evaluators will be a multidisciplinary team of 2-3 professionals.) After reviewing the videos it will be determined if the individual is ready for the Experienced Track and then how many hours of training are needed to graduate Level 200. Depending on the quality of the videos an individual may be required to do additional training.

There is a non-refundable charge of $150 to apply for the Experienced Track.
